Description

MIAC SCI series

MIAC SCI 111 is a combination of polycarboxilic and chelating agent. It is effectivelly prevent CaCO3, BaSO4, and SrSO4 scale in oil and gas production equipment and in water injection system. MIAC SCI 111 prevent scale deposition by “the threshold effect” to form complex bond with calcium and barium ions and prevents crystal growth of carbonate and sulfate scale. MIAC SCI 111 has a good hydrolytic stability up to a temperature of 200° C.
Application – MIAC SCI 111 is recommended to be applied using continuous injection at the upstream of facilities to be protected. Depending on the level of scaling tendency, the required dosage has to be determined experimentally, however in general dosage of 6 – 20 ppm usually sulficient to obtain a good scaling protection. MIAC SCI 111 can also be applied by continuous injection via annulus, downhole injection valve, gaslift and squeeze treatment. For effective squeeze treatment, a detail squeeze procedure with be provided upon request.
