MIAC OXS series
MIAC OXS 212 is water solution of ammonium bisulphite used for Oxygen Scavenger, it is applied in water injection system and hydrostatic test to remove dissolved oxygen and certain other oxidizing elements from fresh and salt water and water base drilling fluids and water base packer fluids.
Application – MIAC OXS 212 is used neat. It is reacts rapidly with dissolved oxygen at ratio: 10 ppm per 1 ppm dissolved oxygen. Bactericide containing aldehydes should not be used simultaneously with MIAC OXS 212 as the effects of both chemicals would be diminished.

Packaging – MIAC OXS 212 is packed in 55 US gallon steel drum or 5 US gallon can.
Handling and Storage – The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources and strong oxidizing agents.
MIAC OXS 222 is a catalyzed sodium bisulphite solution specially designed to remove oxygen from various water system (Oxygen Scavenger), so that corrosion resulted from oxidation can be eliminated. This product is highly soluble in brine or sea water.
Application – MIAC OXS 222 should be added on a continue bases to effectively remove oxygen from water system. The treating ratio is 20 part of product to 1 part oxygen is recommended. Flushing procedure required for stack process application.
