Description
MIAC PPD series
MIAC PPD 141 is a wax modifier containing a linear polymer molecule additive used Pour Point Depressant (PPD). This product is oil soluble and specially developed for depressing the pour point of heavy crude oil and preventing paraffin depositions by maintaining paraffin particle in a dispersed state. MIAC PPD 141 is also able to remove paraffin deposits and then disperse the paraffin particles in its carrier liquid. The dispersed particles will stay in the oil and carries through treating and shipping equipment until it is refined.
Application – MIAC PPD 141 usually applied by continuous injection and batch treatment. The recommended dosage for continuous injection is 1000 – 5000 ppm. Depending on the actual condition, the required dosage is however has to be determined experimentally.
